Mr Rahim Kaba

Mr Kaba is a Consultant Urological Surgeon who operates at Nuffield Heath Warwickshire Hospital in Leamington Spa. His expertise extends to his NHS practice at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT), where he holds the esteemed position of Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Warwick Medical School. Mr Kaba's exceptional skills have earned him a spot on the Medical Advisory Panel for "Bladder Health UK", the leading UK charity for bladder issues. Furthermore, he previously served as the Cancer Lead for Urology and Royal College of Surgeons Tutor for SWFT.

Mr Kaba specialises in a wide range of general adult urological concerns, including urinary infections, male urinary/prostatic symptoms, investigations for PSA/prostate cancer, haematuria, female incontinence, impotence, penile, and testicular issues. His subspecialist focus is lower urinary tract dysfunction. He offers cutting-edge minimally invasive treatments such as REZUM, Urolift, conventional bipolar TURP, and the innovative Aquablation for men with lower urinary tract dysfunction in the West  Midlands.

Introducing the one-stop prostate biopsy service at SWFT, Mr Kaba performs local anaesthetic Transperineal biopsies of the prostate using PRECISION point for men with elevated PSA levels and abnormal prostate MRI scans.

A distinguished alumnus of Guys', Kings', and St Thomas' (GKT) School of Medicine in London, Mr Kaba's academic achievements include the Harold Ellis Prize in Surgery and other accolades. He further honed his skills during an elective in Urology at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden, under the guidance of renowned Professors.

Embarking on his surgical journey at the Oxford School of Surgery, Mr Kaba completed his Urology training in the Northwest of England. He imparted his anatomy teaching at Oxford University. His dedication to knowledge is evident through his publications and presentations in Urology, with one of his works being recognised as a Top 25 "HOTTEST ARTICLE" by the International Journal of Surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Kaba is deeply committed to medical education. He serves as a personal and clinical tutor at the University of Warwick Medical School and is an examiner for pre-registration medical students and postgraduate Urology exams.
