Mr Randeep Aujla

Mr Randeep Aujla is an Internationally fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee conditions and lower limb sporting injuries.

NHS practice is based at the University Hospitals of Leicester and he is currently Head of the Trauma service. Mr Aujla also works at Leicester City Football Club and is affiliated with numerous sports teams.

Mr Aujla’s training has been based around the East Midlands whilst undertaking a Master's degree from the University of Edinburgh. Mr Aujla bolstered his training with being awarded a travelling fellowship to prestigious orthopaedic centres across six European countries. After completing his training, he embarked upon worldwide recognised knee and sports surgery fellowships in Perth (Western Australia) with Australia’s leading surgeons. He has worked Internationally as a Consultant in Australia and across the UK before returning, to the place he calls home, to work in Leicester.

His academic portfolio demonstrates this with a broad range of skills and topics across his many publications and international presentations. He often travels abroad to teach and train future surgeons.

Having worked within elite sports since 2014, Mr Aujla feels he understands the athlete’s perspective on injury and symptoms. He is very rehabilitation-focused and works hard to maximise his patient's function through many treatment modalities including liaising closely with physiotherapists.
