About
Robert Morris is the clinical lead in neurosurgery at Cambridge University Hospitals. He has an interest in surgery for degenerate spine and disc problems. He also specialises in surgery for brain tumours, Parkinson's disease and epilepsy. He underwent neurosurgical training in London culminating in a Fellowship in functional neurosurgery. Before coming to Cambridge, he worked as a Consultant Trauma Neurosurgeon.
He is the lead surgeon in international research programmes investigating novel surgical techniques for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, such as stem cell transplantation and gene therapy.
