About
Mr Robert Warr offers the entire range of plastic surgical procedures. His specialist interests are cosmetic surgery of the breast and abdomen including weight loss and skin cancer. Robert has been practicing Plastic Surgery since 1995 and offers over 15 years of experience as a Consultant at the Nuffield Hospital.
In choosing your cosmetic surgeon, experience is everything. As a Senior NHS surgeon in Bristol, he has 15 years of experience working with the breast team in complex revisional breast surgery. In order to undertake this, Robert trained first in breast surgery at the Curie Institute in Paris, one of the world’s leading centres. Amongst many procedures, as a consultant at Southmead, he has performed over 600 fat transfer cases to the breast and in 2007 performed the world’s first total pre-pectoral ADM-assisted breast reconstruction. This has now become a widely accepted form of breast reconstruction.
More recently, Robert has helped develop a complex abdominal reconstruction service based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. This is a rare and extremely specialised service within the UK. The skills and knowledge that he has gained in the NHS compliment his private cosmetic work in abdominal cosmetic surgery.
In addition to the above procedures, Robert has considerable experience in Rhinoplasty and Labioplasty surgery where he accepts patients from across the country.
Above all, Robert recognises that experience and skill are only part of what makes a successful cosmetic surgical practice. He understands that the goals and motivations for undergoing any cosmetic procedure may be complex and that him getting to know his patients is the key to success.
At the first consultation, your concerns will be explored in great detail. The discussion will cover both potential benefits and risks and you will have ample time to talk through your motivations and goals. Always the decision to undergo surgery will be yours and you will feel relaxed and under no obligation at all. You will receive an open and honest opinion regarding your suitability for surgery and genuine advice on whether the procedure you are considering is the best procedure for you.
Patients find Robert’s approach to be relaxed, friendly, holistic and informative.
