About

Mr Patil is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust and Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. He is also Clinical Lead and Governance Lead ENT at ESNEFT. Mr Patil subspecialises in otology, paediatric ENT, implants, and Skull Base surgeries, Associate Lecturer Anglia Ruskin University, Horary Lecturer at UEA.  

He has special interest in paediatric otology, middle ear implants and skull base Surgery. He is double fellowship trained in Paediatric ENT and Skull based fellowship at University of Southampton and has undertaken Middle ear implant training at MED-EL, Innsbruck, Austria. 

Mr Patil has published in various peer review articles and has presented papers nationally as well as internationally

He has a passion for teaching and runs educational cadaveric courses at ESNEFT for national and international trainees. He pioneered in starting Middle ear implant service at Ipswich.
