Mr Shiv Bhanot is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital.
Mr Bhanot achieved his first medical qualification in 1980 in New Delhi, India. He then pursued his Masters degree in Surgery at the prestigious MAM College in New Delhi.
After ten years of post graduate training in General Surgery and Urological Surgery in England, Wales and Scotland, Mr Bhanot took up his post of Consultant Urological Surgeon at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust (previously Redbridge Healthcare Trust) in 1995.
Mr Bhanot’s general urological practice includes treatment of kidney stones, urinary infections, benign and cancerous prostatic diseases, urinary incontinence, female urology and erectile dysfunction.
Mr Bhanot introduced Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy and other laparoscopic urological operations in East London and Essex. He is known to be one of most experienced laparoscopic and open cancer surgeons in the region.
Mr Bhanot enjoys active engagement with his fellow consultants, GPs and public to work on existing and new ways to improve the health of the local community. He is a strong supporter of local prostate cancer charity APPLE.Mr Shiv Bhanot is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital.
