About
Mr Batten undertook his undergraduate medical training in Exeter and Plymouth graduating in 2010 with honours. He spent the early years of his postgraduate training in Glasgow and Australia before undertaking his specialist Orthopaedic training in the Devon and Cornwall, training in the nationally renowned Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre in Exeter and the major trauma centre at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
Towards the end of his Orthopaedic training, he undertook a specialist shoulder and elbow fellowship at the world-famous Guy’s and St. Thomas’ hospitals in London, where he also worked in his first consultancy post.
