About
Mrs Archana Kulkarni is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust and a visiting consultant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and has an active academic and clinical practice. She trained in Ophthalmology in the West Midlands where she also specialised in strabismus (squints) management in adults and children and paediatric eye conditions. This was followed by a fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and a combined paediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellowship at the University Hospital Leicester.
Her special interests include squint management including botulinum toxin injections and squint surgery in adults as well as children and children’s eye disorders including vision development.
