About

Mrs Salma Kayani is a senior consultant in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, specialising in advanced minimal access surgery for benign gynaecological conditions. She is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Mrs Kayani is a certified expert in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, proficient in performing complex procedures such as fertility-sparing surgeries for endometriosis, ovarian disease, and pelvic inflammatory disease, as well as prolapse and pelvic floor reconstructive surgeries. Additionally, she is an accredited Colposcopist and a Diplomate of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Mrs Kayani holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from the University of Surrey Postgraduate Medical School and has a particular focus on managing gynaecological conditions in adolescents with physical and learning difficulties. She has been a member of the Standardisation Steering Committee of the International Continence Society and has led international workshops on laparoscopic colposuspension and sacrocolpopexy.

In her practice, Mrs Kayani provides personalised care for women of all ages, addressing hormonal imbalances, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary concerns. She has authored numerous publications in leading medical journals on topics such as endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids, and laparoscopic hysterectomy. Mrs. Kayani is also an experienced trainer, delivering advanced surgical training in the UK and internationally.
