About

Tor Spence is a highly specialist speech and language therapist with 16 years of experience working in the NHS and private practice. Tor qualified as an SLT in 2007 and graduated with a BSc degree in speech sciences from Newcastle University. Her most recent NHS post was a clinical lead speech therapist at the John Radcliffe Hospital. She now focuses full-time on her private practice, VoiceFit, in Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
 
Tor’s practice specialises working with adults and children who are experiencing voice problems, throat symptoms, chronic cough, breathing difficulties and inducible laryngeal obstruction. She works with Ear, Nose and Throat and Respiratory teams including consultants, nurses, physiotherapists and psychologists.
 
She is passionate about taking a holistic approach to help her patients find their voice and learn to manage and control complex throat symptoms.
