About

Tor Spence is a highly specialist speech and language therapist with 16 years of experience in the NHS and private practice. She qualified as an SLT in 2007 and graduated with a BSc degree in speech sciences from Newcastle University. Her most recent NHS post was as a clinical lead speech therapist at the John Radcliffe Hospital. She now focuses full-time on her private practice, VoiceFit, in Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
 
Tor’s practice specialises in working with adults and children experiencing voice problems, throat symptoms, chronic cough, breathing difficulties and inducible laryngeal obstruction. She works with Ear, Nose and Throat and Respiratory teams, including consultants, nurses, physiotherapists and psychologists.
 
She is passionate about taking a holistic approach to help her patients find their voice and learn to manage and control complex throat symptoms.
