About
Ella has over 10 years experience in Hand Therapy mainly through links with the UK and internationally recognised Derby Pulvertaft hand unit. She gained her Accredited Hand Therapist (BAHT) award in 2007 and is currently working towards an MSc in Hand Therapy.
Ella has been a member on the British Association of Hand Therapy (BAHT) Education Sub-committee since 2007. This organisation supports the educational and developmental aspects of UK hand and upper limb therapists.
Ella is a returning lecturer at local universities for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Graduate Therapy courses including Bradford, Derby and Nottingham.
Ella travels regularly throughout the UK, Europe and other locations providing training workshops on hand therapy treatments and attending European hand congresses.

In 2011 Ella was involved in a Dupuytren's Research project at the Royal Derby Hospital NHS, Pulvertaft Hand Unit. She is currently researching wrist denervation assessments for her MSc in Hand Therapy independent study.
