About

Ms Isabel Teo is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Manor Hospital, Oxford and at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Her skillsets include breast reconstruction, aesthetic surgery, hand surgery and skin cancer surgery. Ms Teo graduated from the University of Edinburgh with final year distinctions and completed her higher surgical training in Scotland. She undertook a Masters in Surgical Sciences with the University of Edinburgh, obtaining her post graduate degree with Distinctions. She successfully completed three prestigious subspeciality fellowships- a Cosmetic TIG fellowship in Guildford, a Hand TIG Fellowship in Oxford, and a breast microsurgical fellowship in Chelmsford, UK. Ms Teo is a compassionate surgeon who prides herself in placing her patients’ wellbeing above everything else. She believes that each patient’s journey is unique, and her approach is rooted in empathy and meticulous attention to their individual needs. Ms Teo’s private practice include body contouring surgery with liposuction and lipofilling, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), cosmetic breast surgery (augmentation, lifts, reduction), lumps and bumps (skin tags, fatty lumps, scar revision), labia reduction, prominent ear correction, injections for facial rejuvenation, hand surgery and skin cancer excision.

Special interests

Ms Teo has been very active in research and academia. She has authored more than 20 publications in peer reviewed journals, and delivered 47 national and international presentations. She was the Associate Principal Investigator for the Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT) NEON at Oxford in 2021 (analysing outcomes of finger digital nerve injuries), and is currently the Principal Investigator for the RCT Flare in Oxford (analysing tendon injuries in the finger).
