About
Louise Hunt is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon with practising privileges at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital.

She undertook her surgical training in Wessex and completed a two year Research Fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, USA, looking at the genetics of colorectal cancers and inflammatory bowel disease. She completed her fellowship at St Marks Hospital in London.
Louise is an expert in all aspects of colorectal surgery including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and benign conditions including diverticular disease, fistulas and haemorrhoids. Her sub-speciality interest is Pelvic Floor disorders including faecal incontinence, constipation and difficulty evacuating. Her focus is on providing a personal and thorough service with a clearly communicated plan.
