Ms Siobhan Laws

Siobhan qualified from the Royal Free Hospital in 1987 and trained in London, Kent, Bristol and Hampshire. She has worked as a consultant breast surgeon since 2001 at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester and local private providers. She has a special interest in breast oncoplastic surgery – combining the best principles of cancer and plastic surgery. She is also an active researcher and has been instrumental in bringing new techniques and technologies to her practice. Siobhan is widely published and has collaborated on many national trials and audits. She has represented her region at specialty organisations (ABS) and is on the iBRA steering committee. Siobhan spent 10 years as tutor to Southampton BM4 medical students and was the surgical tutor and organised a regional teaching program.

At home, Siobhan has a husband, two children and one grandchild, a dog and 2 chickens. She has too little time for her many interests currently including fiction, archaeology, crochet, enjoying music, swimming and cycling.
