About

Ms Laing is a highly skilled consultant hand and plastic surgeon with extensive training from prestigious medical institutions in the UK and Ireland. Specialising in trauma reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, hand arthritis and paediatric hand conditions, Ms Laing has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional care across a range of complex cases.

As a member of the major trauma team at Cambridge University Hospital(CUH), Ms Laing plays a critical role in the care of patients with severe injuries, particularly those involving the hands and soft tissue. Her expertise in hand surgery is essential in restoring function and mobility to patients who have suffered life-changing injuries.

Ms Laing is also a specialist in diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions, benign and malignant and is a member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team in CUH.

In addition to clinical excellence, Ms Laing has contributed significantly to medical research and education, contributing to national trials and audits and publishing in renowned journals. Passionate about advancing the field of hand surgery, she is actively involved in teaching the next generation of surgeons. Ms Laing is a recognised trainer for hand fellows of the British Society of Surgery for the Hand(BSSH) and a member of the BSSH education and training committee.

Ms Laing sees patients from the age of 4 years.
