More about your 360+ Health Assessment
Before commencing your 360+ Health Assessment, there is a thorough questionnaire to carry out. This helps us understand all factors influencing your current health status and future risk of developing certain lifestyle diseases, so we can provide a strong foundation for you to make positive changes.
During your 360+ Health Assessment, we will:
Check stress levels
We all feel stress from time to time. However the volume, frequency and how we manage this stress is key to our health and wellbeing. During the health assessment, and from your pre-assessment questionnaire, we will assess your psychological stress levels and then using innovative technology, we will measure your physiological response to stressors and cognitive performance. We will then discuss techniques to help you respond better during stressful situations to improve your emotional wellbeing.
Check posture and movement health
Musculoskeletal conditions are the leading cause of pain and disability in the UK, and a major cause of workplace absence and productivity loss. The quality and range of your movement can influence your susceptibility to experiencing and living with pain. Your Health and Wellbeing Physiologist will perform a functional movement assessment during your assessment. This will evaluate your mobility, stability and strength, to help you to make proactive changes to your work, home and exercise routines to optimise your movement and reduce your risk of future pain and injury.
Check cardiovascular health
A healthy heart is essential for your overall health, and this depends a lot on the way you live. Regular exercise and healthy eating are significant factors in combating high blood pressure and high cholesterol, both of which can contribute to heart disease. Our tests will help reveal any concerns.
Check diet and nutrition
We're often told what we should eat, but what’s truly right for you, personally? Our clinicians will review your pre-assessment questionnaire and gain insight into your nutritional habits. Using this information, along with discussions during your health assessment, they will help you understand the strengths and weaknesses of your diet and guide you on the necessary changes to improve it.
Check diabetes
Over half a million people in the UK have diabetes without knowing it. We will look for risk factors by measuring your blood glucose (sugar) level and analysing your urine. A further blood test, known as haemoglobin A1c, will be tested if clinically indicated. Our clinicians will then discuss your results and help you manage your blood sugar levels through exercise, nutrition and other lifestyle changes to reduce your risk of developing diabetes in the future.
Check cholesterol
Your heart is your body's most vital organ, so make it healthier with a few simple checks. Our blood test will assess your cholesterol level, whilst our clinicians will work with you to help lower your risk of cardiovascular disease by implementing healthier behaviours.
Check blood
In addition to testing for cholesterol and diabetes, a full blood test will look for anaemia and the ability to fight infection; kidney and liver function; calcium and protein levels; as well as thyroid (female) and prostate (male) for the over 50's.
