Dr Hensiek is an experienced neurology consultant and manages all common and rare neurological disorders.  She trained in Neurology at Addenbrooke's Hospital, the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology, London. 

She was appointed to her current NHS consultant post in 2008 and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London.  She has extensive experience in all aspects of neurology, including headache, pain, dizziness, epilepsy, Parkinson's Disease, neuropathies, memory problems, movement disorders and multiple sclerosis. She conducts several specialist and national clinics for hereditary neurological disorders, including ataxia, neurofibromatosis, movement disorders and spastic paraparesis. 

Dr Hensiek was awarded a teaching excellence award in 2020 and is an educational supervisor for the neurology trainees at Addenbrooke's Hospital, as well as coordinating the medical student neurogenetics attachment.
