Look Good Feel Better sessions at Cancer Centre London

Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is an independent national charity providing a unique service to women, men and young adults undergoing treatment for any type of cancer right across the UK.

At Cancer Centre London, we are incredibly lucky to be able to offer a FREE two-hour Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) session for women five times a year. These sessions are run by trained beauty consultants who volunteer their time, skills and expertise to give ladies undergoing any type of cancer treatment a little pampering and TLC.

What happens at the sessions?

LGFB sessions cover two hours of confidence-boosting skincare and makeup tips such as how to draw eyebrows back if these have been lost or how to look after your skin if you have experienced any changes as a result of treatment.

These sessions are in groups, and women who attend enjoy not only the advice on how to deal with any visible changes to their appearance but are also presented with a lovely gift bag which is used throughout the session and taken home after. In addition, attendees also have the chance to share experiences with other women going through a similar journey in a safe, friendly and light-hearted atmosphere.

LGFB also provide additional support on nail care, wig and scarf advice via their “Confidence Kit” self-help DVD & booklet and online tutorials.
