Trauma and injury can happen to anyone. and it can have a big effect on the quality of life and work. 

After nearly 8 years of working as an Orthopedic Consultant in a major trauma centre, Miss Jayne Ward will be giving an update on the latest techniques to fix bones, the complications that can arise after a fracture and how to deal with them. 

As well as explaining the difficulties, recent evidence regarding the psychological effects of being involved in an accident can have and new strategies to cope with adjusting to life after an injury. 

This session will be interactive so please do get in contact in advance if there are any specific injuries or broken bones you would like her to cover and there will be plenty of time for a live Q&A.
