Paying for Diagnostic Imaging

You will need a referral for a diagnostic imaging test. This can be from your GP, a consultant or other medical practitioner, or (in some cases) a non-medical referrer such as a physiotherapist or occupational health specialist. You can self refer for breast screening. Call us using the number at the top of this page if you are unsure about what referral may be needed.

Payment options

There are many ways you can choose to pay for your treatment. It is our policy that each patient attending registers a credit/debit card with us before attending the hospital.

Medical Loan

In conjunction with First Medical Loans you may be able to arrange a 0% interest-free loan for your treatment (subject to status, terms and conditions). 

Credit/Debit Card

If you wish you can choose to pay for your treatment by credit/debit card. Note we do not accept American Express. 

Medical Insurance

If you are covered by a medical insurer they may cover the cost of your treatment. You would need to liaise closely with your insurer to determine which costs they will cover. Please note insurance coverage for cosmetic procedures is rare.
