Breast symptoms assessments at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital

Discuss your symptoms with our expert breast consultants. You will receive an examination and a tailored diagnostic plan. If necessary, you may have a mammogram and/or ultrasound. A healthcare assistant or nurse will accompany you throughout the clinic. You will receive your results within the same day. Sometimes, a biopsy may be performed for full clarity, with results taking up to 7 working days.

Prices range from £1,100 increasing to £1,850, if a biopsy is required. We accept most insurers and self-pay. *please get in touch with your insurer before booking an appointment.

If you notice any of the following, it may be in your best interest to book a breast screening with us:

• A lump or swelling in the chest, armpit or upper chest
• Visible change in the size of the breast or if one breast is visibly larger than the other
• A change in the skin on the breast texture such as puckering or dimpling
• A change in nipple such as inverted and becoming pulled in or a change in nipple shape
• Rash or crusting around the nipple
• Discharge (unusual liquid) in one or both nipples
• Change in colour of the breast, it may be inflamed or look red
• Constant pain in the breast or armpit that is there all or most of the time

Scans we offer:

• Ultrasound – painless high-frequency soundwave examination
• Mammogram – X-ray detailed structure of the breast tissue.

Clinic times:

Mondays, Wednesdays and alternate Fridays and can be booked online or via phone.
