Ambient Experience at Manchester Diagnostic Suite

We understand that you may be nervous about having a diagnostic scan. So we’ve integrated Philips Ambient Experience into our state-of-the-art suite.

The technology transforms clinical spaces into environments of your choice through the use of lighting, soundscapes and video projections. Before your scan, you are given the opportunity to select your own theme, allowing you to take control of your experience, which also includes those designed for children.

Philips Ambient Experience is fully integrated into our CT and MRI scanners, with in-bore technology allowing patients to look outside the scanner to make the whole experience more comfortable. We also have ambient lighting available in our X-ray suite, giving the space a more welcoming feeling.
