Are you suffering with knee pain? Are you recovering from a knee injury and require advice and/ or treatment? 

Mr David Elson, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialises in joint-preserving surgery and looks to perform biological knee surgery (knee osteotomy, ligament reconstruction, meniscal surgery, cartilage restoration) whenever possible. He also performs bionic knee surgery (partial and total knee replacement) in advanced arthritis.

Mr Elson will deliver a presentation and discuss the various treatments available. He will also answer questions in an open forum and discuss individual concerns. 

"I offer a bespoke approach, tailored to each patient’s specific problem. If you’re too young to have a knee replacement, I may be able to find an alternative way to treat your symptoms. I aim to be clear in my communication about your procedure, rehabilitation and likely outcome."

This event is being held at our hospital in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne where we have a complimentary car park and disabled access for visitors. Light refreshments will be available on the evening.
