The front part of your eye including your iris (coloured part of your eye), cornea and lens are called the anterior segment.

Problems with this area of your eye can include:

  • Allergic reactions (swelling, redness, blurred vision, itching)

  • Reduction in vision clarity including short sightedness, long sightedness, astigmatism
  • Trauma to the eye
  • Conjunctivitis (inflammation of the front of the eye and the eyelid)
