Parking at The Holly Hospital

We have installed a Pay and Display car parking system to improve parking availability for patients and to discourage un-authorised parking. Managed by Gemini Parking Systems Ltd, our Pay and Display Car Park uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. This means cameras photograph car number plates entering the hospital grounds and the system automatically calculates parking fees owed. Limited parking is available for patients and visitors to the hospital.

Drop offs and pick-ups

We have designated bays for drop offs and pickups located near the main entrance to the hospital. There is no fee for parking here for up to 30 minutes. Thereafter parking fees will apply.

Premium Plus (insured and self-funding) Patients

All Premium Plus patients (insured and self-funding) will receive a special parking code in advance of their appointment or admission, to allow them to use the car park without paying any additional fees.

Patients must enter this parking code, along with their car registration number, into one of the iPads, located at Front Reception and at the Outpatients Reception. Codes are valid for 24 hours from the time of entering them. Reception staff will assist patients in using the iPads, if needed.

Parking is subject to availability and if you cannot find a space in our car park we will not cover any costs for parking in an external location.

Blue Badge Holders

Car Parking is free for blue badge holders. Please display your blue badge and report to front reception on arrival, where assistance will be provided. Blue badge holders will be required to enter a car parking code into one of our IPADs. Codes are valid for 24 hours from the time of entering the code. All other patients’ car parking fees apply. How can I pay?

You can pay at the Payment Station using coins, or you can pay by card over the telephone using RingGo (full details are available at the Payment Station).

If a vehicle is found not making a payment for the duration of stay or found using an un-authorised space (disabled or ambulance bays) Gemini Parking Solutions Ltd will issue a parking charge notice. The fine will be £100.00 reduced to £60 if paid within fourteen days. Any disputes in relation to car parking charge notices remain Gemini Parking Solution and patrons.
