About the Major Trauma Enhanced Rehab Programme

The Major Trauma Enhanced Rehab programme is a partnership between Nuffield Health, Manchester University Foundation Trust and Northern Care Alliance NHS Trust. The foundations of the project are built around the legacy work undertaken at MIHP following the Manchester Arena Bombing in 2017.

Patients who have been affected by major trauma have suffered life-altering injuries which severely impact their function, mental health and wellbeing. Treatment is delivered by an interdisciplinary team of Surgeons & Consultants, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with Nuffield Health well placed to support with the provision of specialist equipment, facilities and expertise.
