Who is the Life Online+ Health Assessment right for?

Our Life Online+ package is perfect if you’re looking for an at-home Health Assessment that includes a cholesterol reading and an HbA1c analysis.

You’ll also get access to a 30-minute online Physiology module and our innovative online health risk assessment, where you can view all your data and any recommendations we might have made.

Before your assessment

We ask everyone to complete our online health risk assessment before their appointment.

We then use the data from this assessment and the answers from your Trium questionnaire to target the areas of your health that matter most to you.

Trium®- our online health risk assessment

Trium is our online health risk assessment that includes a comprehensive questionnaire.

Your answers help us understand more about you and give us a detailed breakdown of your current health and the risk factors that affect it.

You may receive a call from a clinician if the results of your risk assessment flag something that needs discussing before your appointment.

Review your long-term condition risk

Using your answers, Trium will assess your risk for common conditions and diseases.

The conditions include:

  • Stroke
  • Heart disease
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Breast cancer (females)
  • Bowel cancer
  • Prostate cancer (males)
  • Lung cancer

Module Selection

Our Life Online+ Health Assessment gives you the opportunity to work through a 30-minute Physiology-led module. We’ll use Trium and the answers from your online health risk assessment to recommend the most suitable module for you and your overall health.

Alternatively, you can choose to change the recommended module to one that you feel is most relevant to your current health concerns.

  • Physiology modules
    • Posture and movement health

Musculoskeletal conditions are a leading cause of chronic pain, disability, workplace absence, and productivity loss in the UK. Many of us live with pain without ever finding out why or addressing the root cause of our condition.

During your assessment a health and wellbeing Physiologist will perform a series of tests to assess your range of motion and movement capability. This screening focuses on mobility, stability, and strength to determine what areas may be causing you pain and discomfort.

Following this module, you’ll work with a Physiologist to make positive and proactive changes to your posture and your work, home, and exercise routines.

    • Cancer risk reduction

Your lifestyle and personal choices have a large impact on your risk level for certain types of cancer.

This module involves working with a Physiologist to determine how certain risk factors may increase your likelihood of developing breast, bowel, or lung cancer. Our Physiologist will work with you to create a personalised action plan to improve your lifestyle and modify any potentially harmful behaviours you may engage in.

This module is not suitable for those already been diagnosed with cancer.

    • Fitness

Your overall fitness level is a great indicator of how well your body is functioning daily.

This module involves a fitness test to assess your aerobic fitness and fitness age, a discussion of exercises to include, and how best to train in order to meet your short and long-term fitness goals.

This coaching session will also help you identify any changes you need to make to your diet, exercise levels and lifestyle to maximise your fitness and overall movement capability.

    • Stress and resilience management

We all feel stress from time to time, however the volume, timing, frequency, and way we manage stress can be problematic.

During your Health Assessment, we’ll work with you to assess your base stress levels and discuss how you respond to certain triggers. The tests we complete allow for consideration of your physiological response to stressors and discuss how you could make some modification or changes to your work and lifestyle routines.

Your Physiologist will create a tailored action plan for you with techniques and strategies that are best placed to help you and your unique responses to stressors.

    • Diabetes prevention

Diabetes is a serious condition that causes a person’s blood sugar levels to become too high. Over half a million people in the UK are living with diabetes without knowing it.

During your assessment, we will look for risk factors by measuring your key blood markers and analysing your urine. We’ll also assess your risk of developing diabetes in the next 10 years using these readings and information gathered from your Trium® questionnaire.

Our clinicians will then discuss your results with you to help manage your blood sugar levels moving forward. They’ll talk you through exercise, nutrition, and other lifestyle changes that can impact and reduce your risk of developing diabetes in the future.

    • Energy and sleep health

Sleep patterns and hygiene can be naturally improved with the help of tailored advice and a personalised coaching plan delivered by a Physiologist.

This module is ideal for those suffering with poor sleep and energy levels throughout the day.

    • Lifestyle management for healthy hearts

A healthy heart is essential for your overall health. The overall health of your heart largely depends on your lifestyle and the way you live. Regular exercise and healthy eating are significant for combating high blood pressure and high cholesterol, both of which can contribute to heart disease.

This module is ideal for assessing your risk of having a cardiovascular event in the next 10 years. It includes a health and lifestyle analysis and a review of your dietary and exercise habits. We’ll also look at your blood pressure, blood glucose levels*, cholesterol profile, and risk of developing serious conditions like heart disease.

Your Physiologist will also put together a heart disease prevention action plan with tailored lifestyle coaching and advice that’s unique to you and based on the findings collected during your assessment.

Certain genetic factors may also contribute to the health of your heart. If relevant, these will be discussed during your Health Assessment.

    • Healthy weight loss

Finding weight loss advice that works for your unique needs and lifestyle can seem difficult.

During this module, a Physiologist will guide you through the evidence so you can develop a deeper understanding of what really works for you.

Using our uniquely designed weight loss guide, you’ll set realistic goals, understand how to develop sustainable behaviour changes, and learn about calorie consumption and the relationship between activity levels and nutrition.

During your assessment

30-minute Physiology module

Your Life Online+ Health Assessment includes an expert-led 30-minute Physiology module.

Modules help you learn more about how your unique body chemistry and lifestyle choices can impact your health. They’re a great way to spend some time focusing on an area that’s concerning or important to you.

We’ll use the data from your Trium questionnaire to recommend which module we think is most suitable and beneficial for you and your overall health.

Biometric and pathology tests

On the day of your assessment, you’ll take a series of tests.

Depending on the contents of your Online Health Assessment package, these biometric and pathology tests may be done at-home or in clinic.

Core biometrics

  • Urinalysis (in-clinic)
  • NICE aligned referral pathway in absence of doctor

Core pathology

  • Lipid profile
  • HbA1c

We’ll use your blood sample to assess your cholesterol and blood sugar levels to help spot the signs of certain long-term health conditions.

Your results will also inform any advice we give and provide you with the data you need to make informed lifestyle choices in the future.

After your assessment

Personalised Health Assessment report

After your assessment, you’ll receive a Personalised Health Assessment report that’s tailored to you.

This unique report includes your test results and any follow up recommendations your clinician may have made during your assessment.

Expert referrals

Following your Health Assessment, your Doctor may recommend a referral to a relevant service based on the results of your blood test.

Follow-up coaching calls

Alongside your report, you’ll also get the chance to discuss your results and recommendations with an expert Physiologist.

This is an opportunity to unpack and explore the expert lifestyle advice you’ve been given and to make sure you’re confident moving forward following your assessment.

Repeat access to Trium®

After your assessment, you’ll maintain access to Trium. Trium gives you detailed information about your health and wellbeing, along with tailored advice that’s based around your online health risk assessment answers.
