Homeopathy, also known as 'complementary medicine/therapy', uses the preparations of substances, often in very small amounts, to trigger the body’s own powers of healing.

How homeopathy works

Based on the concept of,  "like cures like", a substance used to promote healing in a sick person, would produce a similar clinical picture if given to a healthy person, or rather as a tiny amount of inactivated virus is used in vaccinations to promote immunity against that infection.
