Dr David Whooley

Dr Whooley qualified in Medicine in Cork City, Ireland in 1990. He moved to the UK 5 years later and was initially involved in research and teaching. He then worked as a GP in London, Cambridgeshire and West Essex. He joined a semi-rural West Essex practice 14 years ago and has been Senior Partner for much of this time. He has also been a GP Trainer for most of his career with a special interest in motivational approaches to consultation.

He very much enjoys the variety of work as a GP and his interactions with patients. David is experienced in all areas of General Practice, including management of chronic conditions, care of complex elderly patients, childhood illness and mental health issues.
