About
Dr Bilolikar qualified as a Paediatrician in 1987. He has further trained in Paediatrics and Neonatology in London teaching hospitals with Research in Asthma. He was appointed as Consultant Paediatrician in 2001 at Kettering General Hospital and later was the Clinical Director till 2016. He established paediatric asthma and allergy service at his hospital from 2005. He has expertise in Paediatric Allergy such as milk, nut & food allergy, asthma, eczema and hay fever treatments including oral desensitization.
He has a broad range of clinical experience in all aspects of general paediatrics and sees newborns, children & young people up to 18 yrs for a full range of paediatric illnesses. He is lead locally for Asthma & Allergy. Additionally, he is the local lead for Tuberculosis & congenital hypothyroidism.
He has an active interest in teaching being an examiner for paediatric royal college examinations for more than 10 years and educational supervisor for doctors in training. He has actively participated in multicentric research trials in paediatrics while working as a Consultant. He is a Neonatal Life Support Instructor for more than 8 years. He has more than 15 years of experience in private practice in General Paediatrics and Allergic conditions.
