About

Mr Gibson is a consultant in Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic Surgery at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.

He has nine years experience in ophthalmology working as a senior house officer, specialist registrar and latterly as a fellow.

He has completed three major fellowships in London, Canada and Oxford in ophthalmic plastic surgery and has extensive experience in the management of skin cancers around the eye and the management of thyroid-related eye disease.

In the course of his fellowship training Mr Gibson worked with Jane Olver as seen on Channel 4's '10 Years Younger' and in Vancouver with Jean Carruthers, who pioneered the use of botulinum toxin and fillers in facial rejuvenation.
