About
Ken Mannan studied medicine at King’s College London. He qualified in 1995 and completed his surgical training in London, spending a year at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore on the Peripheral Nerve Injury unit. A bespoke fellowship in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty was completed at the Royal London Hospital with Prof. G Scott.
He moved to Yorkshire in 2010 to take up a consultant post at Scarborough hospital and has been employed by York Teaching Hospital NHS Trust since 2012. He is the Deputy Clinical Director for Trauma and Orthopaedics on the east coast, 2014 to present.
In his NHS post he is a keen trainer of orthopaedic surgeons and was awarded Yorkshire trainer of the year in 2013.
