About
Mr Limaye began his medical training in India where he qualified as a Medical Doctor and Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1993. He then went on to complete a further 10 years of Junior and Senior Registrar level Orthopaedic and Trauma training across Liverpool, London and Oxford regions.
His fellowship level training in Foot and Ankle surgery led to entry onto the specialist register in the UK in 2005. Mr Limaye was appointed as an NHS Consultant in Orthopaedics and Trauma surgery in 2005. His current post is at the University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton on Tees.

Personal interests
Mr Limaye’s varied interests include fell walking, hiking in Switzerland, skiing and driving sports cars. He also enjoys travelling and learning about new cultures, food, places and spends remaining time with his family, kids and his many friends from various backgrounds.
Mr Limaye has a passion for water colour paintings and has received many national prizes. He has also completed elementary and intermediate drawing exams and has achieved a diploma in painting. His other interest lies in still photography and he has also received prizes in this.
He is currently taking flying lessons on a Cesna 152 through Durham Tees Valley Flying Club.
