About

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon specialising in Hand and Wrist surgery. My NHS practice is based at York Teaching Hospital. 

In 2019, I was selected to undertake a 12-month Ortho-Plastic Hand fellowship at the world-renowned Wrightington upper limb unit. I undertook a further 6 months Hand and Wrist fellowship at Wrightington Hospital working under internationally recognised hand and upper limb surgeons before starting as a Consultant in York.

I graduated in Medicine from the University of Dundee in 2010 and completed my Orthopaedic surgical training on the prestigious Edinburgh Orthopaedic training rotation.
An appreciation of the importance of one's hands in everyday life and a fascination in the hand's complex anatomy, led to my interest in hand surgery.  I aim to improve my patient’s quality of life by treating pain and improving function to enable their return to sport, work and daily activities.
