We’ve launched our new Reflux service

We are proud to be working with RefluxUK to offer specialist care in the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of Reflux.

What will happen?

During your consultation with one of our specialist Upper Gastrointestinal Consultants, you will receive:
  • A full assessment of your symptoms.
  • An investigation plan if required.

Our physiology tests

Physiology tests are required to provide you with an accurate diagnosis and ascertain whether you are eligible for a procedure, if necessary. They normally take around an hour an involve a catheter being inserted transnasally to monitor the effectiveness of your swallowing and your reflux (acidic or non-acidic) in your food-pipe and throat.
  • 24-hour pH/impedance monitoring
  • High-resolution manometry

Our treatments

Our consultants are able to offer the following treatments and procedures:
  • Diagnostic endoscopy / Gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy (or gastroscopy)
  • Therapeutic Endoscopy
