What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is also known as Complementary Medicine/Therapy. It uses preparations of substances, often in very small amounts to trigger the body’s own powers of healing.
Homeopathy is based on the concept that "like cures like", something that produces symptoms in a healthy person which can treat an illness with similar symptoms. For example, the substance used to promote healing within a sick person would produce a similar clinical picture if given to a healthy person, or rather as a tiny amount of inactivated virus is used in vaccinations to promote immunity against that infection.
