Every course of treatment starts with a 45-minute initial assessment to assess your symptoms, then recommend the right plan for you and begin treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time. *Treatment price does not include specialist pelvic health physiotherapy appointments.

How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2009, and since then have worked in both the NHS and private sector, specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for the past 4 years. I joined the team here at Nuffield Health in June 2016.

During my career I have gained experience in a wide range of physiotherapy techniques including sports massage, joint mobilisation, taping, electrotherapy, exercise prescription and more recently, acupuncture.

I am able to utilise these techniques to treat a variety of injuries and conditions, including recovery following surgery.

How can I help you improve your health?

Prior to joining the Nuffield team in 2014, Iestyn worked within the local NHS Trust, where he specialised in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has been working in this specialism since, treating a wide variety of patients. Iestyn has also led an ACL recovery programme and a gym-based reactivation programme for patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

He was the lead Physiotherapist for patients with Rheumatological conditions and the Trust’s Hydrotherapy service.

Iestyn has worked with elite athletes as the lead physiotherapist for both the USA Eagles Under 17 Rugby Team and the England Colleges Under 19 Rugby Team.

He has a broad knowledge base of both sporting and non-sporting injuries; which allows him to develop appropriate and effective rehabilitation programs for all his patients.
