How can I help you improve your health?

I have developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pathologies, together with a special interest in Sports Injuries following a ‘Sports and Exercise MSc’ in 2017. I also have experience in treating paediatric patients with musculoskeletal injuries and presentations.

I understand that each person is unique and therefore incorporate a holistic approach to therapy, recognising and correcting ‘faulty’ movement patterns through manual and exercise based treatment interventions. I also have a deep knowledge of pain physiology and as such am able to educate and reassure that many of the symptoms we find troubling are actually to be valued as a useful response to ‘injury’ and a sign that our bodies are working to help us heal and repair.

How can I help you improve your health?

Jenny graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School in 2004 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. She spent three years as a physiotherapist within the NHS before working for a small Physiotherapy company in the ski resort of Val d’Isere in France.

On her return she started work for Nuffield Health where she has had a variety of roles including telephone triage, treating musculoskeletal (MSK) patients, teaching Pilates and also spending time treating patients on the ward. She is also qualified to use acupuncture as a treatment modality.

Jenny has since become a Pelvic (Women’s) Health Specialist and is experienced in treating such conditions as stress and urge incontinence, bladder pain syndrome, pelvic organ prolapse and helping women recover from gynaecological surgery. She is very passionate about helping women maintain good pelvic health throughout their lives, whether they have a pre-existing condition such as endometriosis or adenomyosis, or whether the issues started through pregnancy, delivery or menopause. She has years of training and clinical experience in treating pregnancy-related pelvic girdle and lower back pain, pelvic floor issues and diastasis recti, and her experience in teaching ante and postnatal Pilates makes her ideal to help with recovery from giving birth. Her background in MSK also enables her to treat more complex pelvic girdle issues.

Jenny is extremely competent in treating all MSK conditions including back, neck pain and upper and lower limb injuries, and as a keen runner, she enjoys helping with sports-related injuries. Her approach is a mixture of hands-on and exercised-based techniques and she takes a holistic approach to try and get to the route of your injury rather than just treating the symptoms. No matter what your injury, she will work hard alongside you to help you achieve your personal goals for recovery.
