Eleanor Neville
How can I help you improve your health?
I graduated from Cardiff University in 2008 and worked in the NHS gaining experience in a variety of different settings. I have specialised in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy since 2011 and at a similar time also started taking a special interest in pelvic health physiotherapy.
I have a background in sport and exercise science and in previous roles have worked with professional athletes and footballers to facilitate return to sport or maintain fitness or assist in injury prevention. I enjoy working with people with different presentations and levels of activity to help them achieve their specific goals, whatever they may be.
I have previously worked in Orthopaedics and have vast experience in physiotherapy for patients pre or post-surgery. We work closely with both Taunton and Bristol Nuffield Health Hospitals and their consultants to facilitate pre-operative and post-operative treatment.
As a Pelvic Health Specialist, I can access and treat pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse; post-operative gynaecological surgery rehabilitation; pregnancy-related back and pelvic girdle pain; pre or post-natal pelvic floor issues and post-natal abdominal rehab. I am a strong advocate of pelvic floor strength in any population from post-natal to post-menopause or post-surgery to post-heavy weights session and I take pride in improving understanding, awareness and self-management in this field.
I currently have clinics on Wednesdays and Fridays. I also work
part-time as a First Contact Practitioner in the NHS. Outside of work, I enjoy
spending time with my family and keeping fit by attending the gym, swimming and
running.
