Putting a dedicated role into schools with responsibility for wellbeing can make a positive difference to the emotional and physical wellbeing of students and staff, suggests new research from Nuffield Health. The findings from the report ‘Improving wellbeing in schools’, conclude that the role should not be added to the existing staff’s responsibilities, if it is to have an impact on students and staff.

Leading not-for-profit UK healthcare organisation Nuffield Health has received approval from the City of London to renovate the dilapidated former pathology and residential staff quarters buildings at London’s oldest hospital, St Bartholomew’s. The pathology building developed ‘cult status’ after it had a key role in the second series of the BBC programme Sherlock.

To support those living with cancer, Nuffield Health has launched Relax & Restore Cancer Care Treatment: a bespoke range of treatments that have been researched and approved for use on people living with or recovering from cancer. Treatments are offered by specially trained therapists, doing away with the need for a doctor’s letter.
