Breast reconstruction

A breast reconstruction is an operation to recreate a breast shape after you have had a mastectomy (breast removal). There are two types of breast reduction procedure which include breast reconstruction using implant and breast reconstruction using latissimus dorsi flap.

Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is the use of chemicals or drugs (cytotoxic agents) to disrupt or stop the growth of cancer cells.

Haemato-oncology

Haemato-oncology includes the diagnosis and treatment of blood cell cancers such as leukaemias, lymphomas and myeloma.

High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU)

HIFU is a treatment that uses high-frequency sound waves to destroy cancerous cells in the prostate. This treatment avoids invasive surgery and radiation, which reduces the risk and number of side effects.

Hormone therapy

Hormone therapy for cancer uses medicines to block or lower the amount of hormones in the body to stop or slow down the growth of cancer.

Radiotherapy

Radiotherapy uses high-energy particles or waves, such as X-rays, gamma rays or protons, to destroy or damage cancer cells.
