Outpatient appointments

We have a special waiting room for our Parkside Kids, which is located on the ground floor in Outpatients. Here your child can read, play or watch television whilst waiting for their outpatient appointments or blood tests.

If your child is having a blood test the paediatric phlebotomist will ensure your child experiences minimal discomfort. We will ensure you are fully prepared for what to expect after your child gets a treat!

Inpatient surgery

If your child needs a minor procedure we will send you our Parkside Kids Information booklet so you know what to expect before, during and after the procedure. Your child’s consultant will also provide guidance to ensure your child gets back to normal as quickly as possible.

Private GP service

Our Private GP service provides paediatric care and is open 6 days a week, including same-day appointments. Click here for more information.

Our consultants are recognised by all major insurers and will also be happy to see you if you are self-funding. If you are insured, please check with your insurance company if you require a GP referral.
