High blood pressure (Hypertension)

High blood pressure, also know as hypertension, is a condition in which the blood pressure in an individuals arteries is raised.

Neuropathic Pain (Nerve Pain)

Neuropathic pain is pain caused by diseased or damaged nerves.

Numbness

Temporary pressure for an extended period on an area (such as sitting or standing) can result in a numbing or tingling sensation. Pressure on nerves through injury or as a result of a growth or tumour can also cause these symptoms.

Skin abscesses

Skin abscesses can occur on any part of your body. Often they are found in or near where there is hair. They appear as a swollen lump and there may be pus under your skin.

Skin lesions

Skin lesions are found on or just below the skin. Examples of skin lesions are epidermoid cysts, lipomata (benign tumour of fatty tissue), skin tags and moles.

Skin rash

A skin rash is a change in colour, texture and sometimes temperature of your skin. Rashes also cause itching or drying of your skin.

Skin ulcers

A break in your skin that is slow to heal or fails to heal is called a skin ulcer. Ulcers usually look like a small, round crater in the skin with rough edges.

Syncope

Syncope is a temporary loss of consciousness followed by an awakening. Fainting or a black out are forms of syncope.

Synovitis

Synovium is a thin layer of tissue that lines your joints and tendon sheaths. It protects and lubricates the surfaces. Irritated or inflamed synovium is called synovitis.
